Kim is the heart and soul of ‘LBD Academy’ and ‘Lashes By Design Lash Bar and Beauty Boutique.’ She leads our award-winning Beauty Academy with passion, committed to teaching future beauty artists the highest standards and best training.

Kim looks back at a 22-year career as licensed hairdresser and make-up artist. With strong business sense and dedication, she helped LBD Academy grow beyond Durham, now reaching students across Canada through online courses. Kim’s expertise drives both training initiatives and daily operations, ensuring optimal efficiency and success.
Blanca
Master Trainer, Master Brow Artist and Master Lasher
Blanca, an expert aesthetician with 20+ years of experience and honours from Sheridan College, excels in microblading and permanent makeup. Today, however, she is equally passionate about passing her knowledge and refined skills on to others. Many students have excelled in her customized lash extensions, lash lift & tint, and microblading courses, becoming sought-after beauty artists.
Blanca avoids cookie-cutter methods, instead creating custom shapes that flatter each client’s unique features and complement their personal style.
